Content search

A quick way to find content is to use the search function.

Search terms and search history

Your users can type in search terms. The search ignores special characters e.g. accents and will present that fit titles and names from actors, directors and custom fields. Your users can also select a recent search term and start a new search request.

Clickable fields

Your users can click directly on a director, cast names or custom fields to search for more content with these persons or categories.

A customer can use the search feature as soon as you have added it to a menu. Learn more about customising the menu here.

Search result page

The user can adjust the layout of the search results according to her own preference and find faster what they are looking for.

The grid view displays only the poster image while the list view uses the poster image and adds more metadata information next to it.

The filters help then to sort the search results by content type like movies, series, channel etc. The result page will show 49 items per content type. If there are more results then a "Show more" button will appear for that type.
